“How Colorado Solved the Redistricting Challenges and Passed Meaningful Reform”

Bernie’s talk will focus on Colorado’s successful 2018 redistricting reform ballot measure, how it was created, and how it gained widespread support. He’ll also offer thoughts on how citizens can copy it for other states.

Bernie was an early proponent of redistricting reform. He served two terms in the Colorado General Assembly and was Secretary of State for two years. He is now “of counsel” with the law firm of Ireland, Stapleton, Pryor and Pascoe in Grand Junction, Colorado.
