Where Did All The People Go? Reimagining Children's Television

Danielle is a musician, children’s content creator, media advocate, and lifelong metro Detroiter. Through her children’s media endeavor, Gro-Town, she uses original music, videos, and community gardening initiatives to instill a sense of belonging, gratitude, and wonderment for the world outside our windows. Her debut album for children, Motown is Gro-Town, was released through Detroit Public Television/PBS Kids. Her sophomore record, The Green Album, will be released in June. She has been featured in numerous publications including the Detroit News and has been recognized by the Detroit Music Awards, SEEN Magazine, and the Detroit Food Policy Council for her work in securing a just food system for young Detroiters. She was named Most Inspiring Michigan Mom by Hello Bello in 2019.

Ideas Change Everything

TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
